OPPO has declared the OPPO K9 5G handset in China. It has come as the successor to the last year’s OPPO K7 5G. This is the first K-series mobile from Oppo that features a higher refresh rate in display. The device appears with other impressive features, like a vigorous mid-range processor with 5G connectivity, a large battery with fast charging capacities, and a 64 MP quad-camera setup.
OPPO K9 5G- features and specifications:
The OPPO K9 5G holds a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole notch for a selfie lens. It presents a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels; a 90Hz refresh rate; a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. OPPO has told- that the display of the K9 5G is combined with a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO K9 5G got a Snapdragon 768G processor with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of native storage. The device also has a micro SD card slot for future expansion. It will be running on ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11 OS.
The K9 5G has a single 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. And it offers a quad-camera setup on the rear side of the phone- a 64-megapixel primary + an 8-megapixel ultrawide + a 119-degree FOV + a 2-megapixel macro cam.
The OPPO K9 5G comes with a 4,300mAh Li-Po battery, which brings a 65W rapid charger. As the OPPO said, its 65W fast charger can fully charge the smartphone within just 35 minutes. For a fluid gaming experience, the phone offers VC liquid-cooled heat sink, copperplate, and multi-layer thermal conductive graphite sheet for heat diffusion. The K9 5G provides users other benefits like 5G, a dual SIM slot, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and a 3.5mm audio jack.
OPPO K9 5G- pricing and availability:
Oppo fixed the OPPO K9 5G’s price at 1,999 Yuan (~$309)- for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant, and for the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage version- it is 2,199 Yuan (~$339). It arrives in the market in two colours- Wings of Symphony (blue gradient) and Spades K (black)
