Design:

Nokia always provides quality materials on their phones with rigid construction. Likewise, the Nokia C01 Plus delivers an endurable body build that is beautifully designed. The device is small, compact and lightweight. It will supply comfort while holding it in your hand. The C01 Plus arrives in Blue and Red colours. Its mass is 157 grams, and its building dimensions are- 148 x 71.8 x 9.3 mm.

Display: 

Nokia adorned the COI Plus with a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. (720 x 1440, 18:9, 295 PPI).

This small- 5.45 in IPS LCD display shows rich colours and contrasts to make every content enjoyable. Its balanced sunlight visibility and good viewing angle will be good for media consumption. But you may notice a lack of sharpness in your content- if you’re a heavy user. Except that- it is a perfect small display.

Chipset and Memory:

The smartphone got a Unisoc SC9863A chip for powering you up. It is an octa-core set-up with an IMG 8322 GPU. (4×1.2 GHz Cortex-A55 + 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A55). Ram and Storage: The C01 got 1 GB of Ram with 16 GB of inside storage.

The Unisoc SC9863A is a CorteX A-55 based octa-core CPU. It is a decent entry-level SoC that can provide- light multitasking, basic gaming and fluid daily performing capability. Though you will not get high-level performance, you can complete your daily task with ease. But for having only one GB of ram, you may find lagging in heavy pressure.

Camera:

The Nokia C01 Plus delivers only two cameras with it. A 5MP wide-angle camera for the rear section and a 5MP lens for selfie-taking.

Camera Performance: Its 5MP rear camera and its 5MP selfie camera are ideal for basic photography- like document scanning, video calling, etc. Both cameras capture average detailed photos in daylight and below-average quality images at nighttime. So, if your only priority is photo capturing- then you should not purchase this device.

Network and Connectivity, Sensors:

Nokia enabled 4G, 3G, and 2G networks for the C01 Plus. Its CPU is not that powerful- so you will not get heavy downloading and data transferring speed. Also, the C01 is loaded with- an LED flashlight, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio, micro USB 2.0, Loudspeaker, and a 3.5mm jack.

Sensors: You will not get fingerprint security, and there is no valid information about the face unlocking system. Yes, Nokia enabled these basic sensors- Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, and Light Sensor.

Battery Backup and Operating System:

This time Nokia provided a 3000 mAh Li-Po battery that you can remove from the phone. And you will see a regular 5W charger in the box. And for having a small display- this battery will endure up to one day in everyday usage, but in heavy usage, it won’t. And its 5W box charger will need up to 2 hours to re-gain its 100% charge.

OS: The CO1 Plus runs on the pure Go version of Android 11. The Android Go is simple to use and highly optimized for low-end phones. So, it will provide a clean/minimalistic feeling.

Final Opinion:

The Nokia C01 Plus is a basic phone. It doesn’t offer those features that nowadays almost every brand is offering at this price point. But- that doesn’t mean that this phone is not worthy to buy. Its pure and secure operating system, bright display and quality build construction will be ideal for a non-gaming regular user who loves the Nokia brand. You can also buy it as a second phone or for your parents.
