Hi guys, it’s Hasan from Goesprice, good to see you guys again, and I’m here with my review of the realme x7 pro. I’ve been using this realme x7 pro smartphone for a couple of days, and I have many thoughts about this phone. Is this the real k30 ultra killer that I initially claimed? It might be and coming in at the cost of 30000 Taka.
It’s a bit more expensive than that phone but is offering some fantastic specs for the price. And guys, ahead of time, apologies for the drilling that is going on. I will try to reduce and post as much as possible. Let’s go down the rundown design display performance quick audio test, share my camera samples, and we’ll wrap up with some call of duty mobile here on this phone.
Can this surpass the k30 ultra as the ultimate value champ of 2020? Let’s look at what was inside the box with this real me x7 pro and reminder again. I got the 8GB and 128 GB of storage version. I got it in this gorgeous kind of white color, not the dare to leave on the back. I’m delighted with my color selection here. We have the realme yellow all over, and here you see you have your paperwork, and this is also where you would find the case, and real me always ships this grayish, the issues that tend to be a lot thicker than the ones that Xiaomi ships.
I don’t mind them, but I don’t love them either we have our super dart 65-watt charger. There you see it USB-c to the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack dongle. There’s no headphone jack on this phone sim ejector tool and USB a to USB c charging cable with a charming yellow realme accent color overall pretty standard and unboxing here for this phone design 8.5 millimeters 184 grams.
So one of the lighter phones I’ve tested, but there is a reason why that’s the case. It is because we are using plastic here on the edge of this phone. I have to tell you guys after a couple of days of use. There’s just something about these ridges and the grooves of this phone. I feel a bit cheap, and I think when phones try to imitate metal even more. They look even worse; that being said, the buttons do feel pretty nice. I do like this realme yellow accent here on the power button and quick tour of this phone. We have a Michael here at the top.
We have the power button on the side USB c and the speaker sim-tray, and your volume rocker, but unlike phones like the poco x3 and FC. This phone is using gorilla glass five on the back, and it is a lovely look.
Yes, it is glossy, but I appreciate that realme is doing something different here and a rainbowy pearly effect on this phone. It’s not as impressive as the c color version, but I honestly think that performance is a bit tacky for my liking. I eventually would get tired of that look. That’s why I picked up this pearly white version instead.
On the front, one of the smallest bottom bezels I’ve seen this year on the phone and the same for the side bezels. The top they are minimal, but there is a punch hole on this phone. It is on the left side, which I think is a pretty good placement overall, and last but not least, you have your camera module here. 64 megapixel, and it’s a different look from the one. We’ve seen in previous realme phones.
I don’t love it, but I don’t mind it either. All in all, I don’t mind the design of this phone. It’s pretty nice, but the plastic edge feels pretty cheap in hand, and it just doesn’t reach the level of the premium look. We see on phones like the k30 ultra display 6.55 inch e3 AMOLED display full HD 120-hertz that s the hero spec of this device, and overall I think the display is the highlight of this phone.
There is one thing that I do want to bring up, and that’s the fact I see here on realme UI. There’s no way to adjust the colors of the display. We have a screen color temperature that allows you to go from calm to default to warm settings. But other than this oc vision effect, which I do have turned on. I’m pretty much stuck with a calibration that comes out of the factory. I’m not sure why realme limits this because I’d love to be able to bump up the colors just a little bit more. But that’s a small nitpick to what is otherwise a great display.
You can see here in refresh rate between 60 hertz 120 or auto-select, which is almost like an adaptive refresh right here, where it will select the best refresh rate for an app between 60 and 120 hertz. When the bezels are so small on the phone, the punch hole doesn’t bother me. It’s a tiny punch hole single punch hole, so it’s a non-issue and the fluidity. On the home screen and in settings is impressive. This app is one of the worst experiences.
I’ve had the jank level I’ve seen on the realme x7 pro is appalling, and I don’t know if it displays here on the camera very well. But it is not 120 hertz when I’m using Twitter on this phone. But despite that guy a terrific display with really great viewing angles, even better than the ones on the k30 ultra. It’s a bright, beautiful display and one of the highlights. Why you would want to pick up this realme x7 pro, and here’s youtube playback. On the realme x7 pro and minus the slight punch hole here. This is one of the most uninterrupted viewing experiences on a phone that I’ve had this year and with those gorgeous AMOLED colors, dual speakers, and just an immersive display.
I think you’re going to have a great time watching content on the real me x7 pro. In DRM info, and I haven’t had to do this for a while, l3 guys on this realme x7 pro. It looks like real means not prioritizing offering HD Netflix support on their china from phones. It is a pity, but it seems like Xiaomi does have an advantage here. On their china from releases l3 only on this realme x7 pro. But in terms of performance, look at this fantastic result here from the density 1000 plus only the second time. We’ve seen it here on the channel and using performance mode. I was finally able to reach this 537, nearly 540 000, the score that has been touted as the score. This density 1000 plus can get, and I don’t know why my k30 ultra still can achieve this.
But I’m so glad to see that realme, at least in performance mode, allows you to reach these scores. With 8GB of DDR 4 ram, 128 GB of us 2.1 storage, this realme x7 pro has the performance to spare apps open up quickly. The 120-hertz refresh rate with a 240hz touch sampling rate makes this one of the zippiest phones I’ve tested all year. This phone is made even zippier with realme UI version 1.0 because of its lightweight nature. I do think, guys, that this phone does perform faster than the k30 ultra. I don’t see those drop frames when opening the control center, and in general, everything is super fast, super speedy on this phone.
Now talking about battery, we have a four thousand five hundred milliampere capacity, and here you see a calculated screen on time of around seven hours and 29 minutes. But to be honest, guys, the power is not why you would want to buy this phone.
You’re going to get it for the 65-watt super dart charging, and just like the x2 pro, this realme x7 pro. So there you see it, guys with a zero to 100 charging time of only around 35 minutes. I was incredibly impressed with this phone, and honestly, for the extra five minutes, I will take having 500 more milliamperes compared to the real me x2 pro.
This feature is the standout feature when you compare it to a phone like the k30 ultra to think that you can have lunch. If you’re about to head out for the night, go for a quick shower, get freshened up, and then when you’re back, your phone is ready to go. That’s one of the best features of not just this phone but of all realms phones. If you want the fastest charging phone in this price segment, look no further than the realme x7 pro. Talking about the fingerprint scanner, we have an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, but just like the x2 pro, this is one of the fastest fingerprint scanners. You click, and you get in.
There’s no kind of flying planet. No apps are swooping in from the side; no, it just goes straight to the display, one of the fastest fingerprint experiences on this realme x7 pro. The vibration motor is also excellent on this realme x7 pro. You’re also able to adjust vibration intensity here from weak medium to firm, and vibrate on touch can also be changed all in all. It’s a reliable vibration monitor and great haptic experience on this realme x7 pro.
On the realme x7 pro, I did not expect this phone to reach the k30 ultra’s dual speakers’ level, but I think they surpassed them with clear sound a great bass. Just solid stereo separation, and these speakers get loud, but they also stay apparent. We’ll have to wait for the full comparison between k30 ultra to see which one is best.
But for now, I think these speakers on the realme x7 pro are top-notch. In terms of cameras, we have a 64-megapixel f 1.8 imx 686 here on the realme x7 pro; on top of that, we also have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide f 2.3. The crappy standard third and fourth cameras that every china OEM seems to want to do 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Because of that density of 1000 plus, we have one of the fastest shutter speeds on any phone on this realme x7 pro with, as I mentioned, 4k 60fps video max resolution a large 32-megapixel f 2.5 front camera. Look at these samples that I’ve taken on the real me x7 pro, both video and photos, and hit me up in the comments.
What do you think? There’s just something about this k30 ultra that makes you feel you’re getting an even more premium experience and for an even lower price. This phone feels almost a good one or two hundred dollars more expensive than this realme x7 pro. It’s fantastic to see realme answering back with a great challenger here. In the second half of 2020, and it’s the first phone that I think I can tell you is worth the upgrade from the realme x2 pro.
So if you value a solid display, the fastest zero to 100 charging in its price segment, and rock-solid performance with this dimension 1000 plus, then look no further than this realme x7 pro.
