Design:

Symphony recently launched another budget-friendly device named ATOM II. The device got a shiny outlook with a solidly built formation. The phone feels slightly heavy in hand, though it has only a 4,000 mAh battery attached to it. The Atom II arrives in Mint Green, Jolly Blue, Midnight Blue, and Pine Green colours. Its magnitude is 190 grams, and its architecture dimensions are- 164.7 x 75.85 x 8.4 mm.

Display: 

Symphony decorated the device with a 6.52-inch HD+ screen. (720 x 1600, 19:9, 270 PPI).

The 6.52-inch large display is bright and produces almost accurate colours all the time. Its colour reproduction will impress you while watching every content. But you may feel a lack of touch responsiveness in the panel, and its average sunlight visibility may disturb you. But everything is considerable for its low price.

Chipset and Memory:

The smartphone gets power from the Unisoc SC9863A processor with an octa-core line-up plus an IMG 8322 GPU. (4 × 1.2 GHz, Cortex-A55 + 4 × 1.6 GHz, Cortex-A55). Ram and Storage: The Atom II offers 2 GB of Ram with 32 GB of interior storage.

The UNISOC SC9863a is a 28nm++ entry-level chip. Its 8 Cortex A-55 based cores can be efficient for daily tasks. Though it can’t help to play high-end games, you will be able to play small 2D/3D games with ease. For having only two GB of Ram- you have to be aware of not installing heavy apps to get a smooth performance.

Camera:

The Atom II has got three cameras with it. In the rear part- it has an 8 MP wide + a 0.8 MP VGA lens. And in front: you will see an 8 MP single selfie camera.

Camera Performance: The phone’s 8 MP rear cam is a decent camera for regular photo shooting. It captures bright, sharp photos in adequate light, but it hardly captures quality photos at night. And the 8 MP selfie sensor follows the rear sensor in terms of quality- takes good selfies in good light situations. The overall camera performance could be better in this device.

You will enjoy 4G LTE, 3G and 2G networks with the device. And the device’s CPU offers a fast modem that will deliver a decent internet speed. Sensors: Symphony provided a rear-mounted fingerprint identification system, which is appreciable at this range, and it is quite fast. Also, Symphony enabled other basic sensors- Accelerometer, G-Sensor, Light sensor and Proximity sensor.

Battery Backup and Operating System:

Symphony offered a 4,000 mAh battery with a 5W regular charger. This 4,000 mAh battery can deliver a full day battery backup in medium usage. And this 5W charger will take over two hours to refill the 100% charge. The phone’s battery and charger performance are acceptable for its expense.

OS: The ATOM II runs on the latest go variant of Android 10. The system UI is clean and fresh. But you may find some transition delay on the interface while using it; we hope it will get fixed through an update.
