Walton has taken a fresh approach to design the Primo ZX4. The phone is built with quality material and provides solid construction with a plastic frame and a plastic back (display-glass). The device appears only in Black Pearl colour. Its overall design will please you, and you will get comfort holding it in hand. Weight- 193 grams, and its body dimension measures are- 157.05 x 76.44 x 8.5 mm.

Display: 

The Primo ZX4 offers a 6.67-inch display that has a dot notch for the selfie camera. It is an HD+ display with a 720 x 1640 pixel of resolution and a 20:9 aspect rate.

Its HD+ display is sharp, provides neutral colours with good clarity. Your content watching experience will be good enough, and you won’t find any over-saturation of colours. The screen’s contrast level and outdoor visibility are more than okay. But if we think about its cost, you may want to complain about not providing a Full HD+ screen, though the display is bright.

Chipset and Memory:

The Walton Primo ZX4 received a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset- to power the handset. The G90T contains eight cores with ARM G76-3EE MC4 GPU. (6×2.0 GHz, Cortex-A55 + 2×2.05 GHz, Cortex-A76). Ram and Internal Storage: The Primo ZX4 got 8Gb ram with 128 internal room.

The MediaTek Helio G90T offers the capability to enjoy high-res gaming, swift steaming, and fluid day-to-day multitasking if you are a heavy mid-range user. It performs like an old day’s flagship processor. Its balanced hardware and software mixing will allow you to complete your task with ease. 

Camera:

Give a treat to your endless photography desire with the ZX4. Walton featured a quad rear camera set-up- comprising a 64 MP primary +8 MP ultrawide + 2 MP macro + a 2 MP depth sensor. To capture your selfies, you get a 32MP front camera with the smartphone.

Camera Performance: Get incredible details and sharpness in your picture with its 64 MP rear camera system. In all light conditions, it takes crisp, clear images with natural colours. And its 32 MP selfie camera is a key selling feature for this phone. It also captures vivid selfies all the time. Also, the entire camera app is responsive and simple to use. 

Network and Connectivity, Sensors:

We expected to see 5G at this budget. But, the Bangladeshi brand has filled this mobile with 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G networks. Well, the web browsing and downloading speed of this device are acceptable. Besides all these, you will find- GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth version 5.0, LED flash, FM radio, WI-FI, a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm earphone jack, a mobile hotspot, micro USB Type-C and some other additional features. 

Sensors: Walton has assembled a rear-mounted fingerprint inspector to protect your machine from foreign users. Also, you will own a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a light sensor, a proximity sensor, with a compass sensor to enrich your experience.

Battery Backup and Operating System:

We don’t think that its battery will give you 2/3 days battery backup in regular usage. Because- Walton has contributed only 4000 mAh battery for this ZX4 which will last one day in heavy to medium use. But we don’t have any information about its charger. We assume it could have an 18W fast USB Type C charger in the box. 

OS: Walton included the latest Android 11 to this ZX4 as an OS. The system UI is lightweight and acts as a stock android. It is almost clean, and its transition speed is acceptable.

Final Opinion:

Walton is a famous Bangladeshi brand, and they are growing their business. The Primo ZX4 is a balanced mid-range device with the Helio G90T. It will be perfect for your mid-hard core usage. Also, you’ll see its magnificent camera performance. But the only problem is its pricing. Yes, if it comes to around 20,000 TK, then it will be a balanced deal. Otherwise, it is an overpriced phone.
