Design and Build Quality:
The good-looking Redmi Note 9 is built of a plastic frame, glass back, and glass front (corning gorilla glass 5). This phone’s dimensions are 161.4 x 76.7 x 8.7 mm, and its weight is 200 grams. Though It’s not all glass, the material is fit. For its glass body design is looking premium, and the overall build quality is solid.
Display:
The Note 9 has a 6.53-inch (19.5:9) IPS LCD (1080 x 2340, 395 PPI) water-drop notch display- with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Its screen-to-body ratio is 83.5%. This display features 450 nits brightness to ensure good outdoor visibility. Considering its price, this full HD+ IPS panel performs excellently. It provides natural colour; balanced contrast level, which will enrich your content watching.
Camera:
Xiaomi given a quad-camera setup in the back; 48 MP (primary) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) camera. In the front, it got a 13 MP selfie camera. The 48 MP primary sensor is the major highlight here. It captures good detailed photo even in low light conditions. Like this one, all cameras perform well at this price point. The overall camera performance is satisfactory for mobile photography.
Performance; CPU and Ram:
Inside, It’s equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 (12 nm) chipset. It has 8 cores based on Cortex-A75 and A-55 Up to 2.2 GHz. For GPU, it has- Mali-G52 MC2. And It has 3/4/6 GB of ram and 64/128 GB of internal storage. Mediatek Helio G85 is a new gaming processor; it has scored great in several benchmark results. And the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU is capable of online gaming. So no problem with the performance.
Battery and backup:
A massive 5020 mAh (non-removable) Li-Po battery is inside the phone. And to charge up is has an 18W USB type-C fast-charger. Talking about its battery performance, the 12 nm chipset is not power-hungry. So this battery can easily sustain for a full day. And this 18W fast charger takes almost 2 hours to get fully charged.
Network and Connectivity:
All 4G, 3G, 2G networks it supports. It also has Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, and a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio with a built-in antenna.
Sensors:
In this phone, a rear-mounted Fingerprint Sensor, an accelerometer, proximity, and a compass sensor you’ll find.
Operating System:
You’re going to get Android 10 with MIUI 12 with this phone. And it’s upgradable to Android 11.
