In 2019, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A30 smartphone. At that time- the device was running on the One UI 1.0, which was based on Android 9.0 (Pie). Later in 2020, the device got its first update of One UI 2.0 on Android 10. But now, after two years of its first release, the smartphone is getting its second major update containing the One UI 3.1 on top of Android 11.
Corresponding to the SamMobile, the second major Android update for the Galaxy A30 is currently rolling on in India, along with the firmware number- A305FXXU6CUE1.
Including some additional features and a fresh system interface, the latest UI update for the device also brings the updated security patch level of April 2021. Like any OS update, the Android 11 update for the Galaxy A30 will be available for all unit in batches. That means- it will need some time to be available for every individual unit of the A30.
The users of the Galaxy A30 in India- will automatically get notifications about the OS update, and they can download and install it from the Software Update menu from Settings. But if not, a user can check for the update manually by going to the Settings- then software update. And also, we expect- Samsung will release the One UI 3.1 update for the A30 for other regions in the upcoming days.
Hold on. You might be thinking about when you will get the 3rd major update on your Galaxy A30!!!! But, the news is- the device will not get the Android 12 update. So, this is the last major OS update for the Samsung Galaxy A30. Don’t worry; still, the mobile will continuously receive the security patch update for up to four years.
