Hey guys, how’s it going. We’re going to be doing an unboxing, and I will give my first impressions on the Samsung Galaxy, and 51. I’ll have links down in the description if you want to check it out for yourself. I paid $370 for this device. So this phone is very similar to that of the galaxy a 71.

If you’ve been covering a lot on the channel, you’re getting a giant and ADP 6.7 inch super an OLED display. You’re getting the competence Snapdragon 730 g processor; you’re getting 25 watts superfast charging. You’re getting 128 gigabytes of storage. My model here has eight gigabytes of RAM, from what I see on the spec sheets, and identical camera to that of the 71, an OK camera and the most noteworthy feature is the 7000 milliamp-hour battery. That’s right, 7000.

This phone is giant in its thickness it is way thicker than even the Samsung Galaxy S 20 Ultra. Still, it’s lighter than the S 20 Ultra, so I’m curious to see how this phone feels in the hand what it’s actually like carrying around a 7000 milliamp-hour battery our point of reference. The 71 has a 4500 milliamp-hour battery, so a humongous difference so let’s go ahead and look at the galaxy.

Well, top we have our device. Oh man, that’s feeling pretty heavy. Let’s check out what else we get in the box, great to see this in the trunk of the phone was such an extended battery we have a 25-watt superfast charger. For those who live in the United States, order this phone you’re going to get a USB plug adapter and the phone we’re also getting a nice pair of earbuds in the box alongside this phone a headphone jack.

In addition to a USB type C to type C charging cable on the top of the box, we have our sim ejection tool. In addition to some paperwork, but with that out of the way, let’s go ahead and check out the galaxy m 51, so we have an infinity o display on this which is very lovely. We do not have a teardrop design had that centred hole punch cutout excellent to see that the quad-camera setup was the same on the 71. We will be testing out this battery a bit in this unboxing and first impressions video.

Wow this phone is huge and glossy and reflective so we have the celestial black colour here, and this also comes in an electric blue colour, you can see here, the extreme thickness of this phone, you may not see it much on camera here. Still, that thickness is there; we’ll have to see whether or not that’s a nuisance in some general use on the right side here. We have our volume rocker sign our power button with a built-in fingerprint scanner.

I love that this phone has a physical fingerprint scanner going to be trying that out on the left side here we have our sim tray at the top. We have a dual sim setup here and a micro SD card slot on the top we have a mic, and on the bottom, we have a headphone jack type C port and other mic and speaker grill. So let’s go ahead and boot up this beast of a phone.

Alright so as you can see similar display setup here is on the 71, we have the same sized hole punch cutout This is the larger hole punch cutout compared to some other phones like the Galaxy S 20 II, that does have a smaller one. It’s also worth mentioning we have a flat display here on the N 51 does not go around the edges.

His is something that’s been bothering me honestly. On my note 20 all churches hitting those edges whenever I’m trying to do things, so any phone that has the flat display I’m certainly OK, but I’m going to go ahead and set this phone up going to use it for several hours and come back with my first impressions. All right, so I’ve been using the galaxy m 51 for the last six hours or so. I’ve got to tell you guys I like this device, starting with getting into the phone, the fingerprint sensor on the side is a huge win, love it the display just instantly pops on as soon as you lay your finger on there, there is also facial recognition. Also, get your into your phone pretty much just as fast, but honestly with that fingerprint sensor there and only where it naturally sits with where your thumb will be when you pick up your phone. It’s just so lovely to be able to get in quickly, and of course, when you open up the phone, you’re greeted with the 6.7 inches super am OLED plus display. This is a fantastic display here.

I love the 6.7-inch size I think it’s pretty clear that this is a bigger phone so you already know that coming into it satisfies the need for an extensive display experience. I mean everything looks excellent if you’re only online shopping. If you’re watching content on YouTube trialling games, know that anything you do on this display. It will look great, quickly touching on the overall feel of the phone and discussing its larger size, you get used to it it’s just like any other new tech once you use it for a little. In contrast, you get used to it feels weird going back and picking up a smartphone’s standard size slap.

It makes it feel super thin compared to the galaxy, a 71 here, and this is a chunkier phone, so you have to keep that in mind if you’re looking to pick this one up. But again, like I just said you get used to it, and I didn’t have any issues at all except when stowing it in my athletic shorts. It would pretty much pull my pants down, but if you’re wearing jeans or khakis or pretty much anything else, the phone’s weight isn’t going to be an issue, even when you’re lying down or something and watching some YouTube in bed. It’s really not too heavy to hold up or anything, and it just has a nice rounded feeling on all the sides, so it does form to your hand very well it’s not a vast boxy type of shape of the phone.

It’s nice that it is rounded, so it just has a great feel in hand. Some of you may actually like that added baulk riled regarding the general use of the phone. I’ve been enjoying every minute of using this device just scrolling through YouTube and watching some content just doing a lot of online shopping. Stuff you can see there’s just no lag at all, and also just knowing that this has the same chipset as the galaxy, a 71 which this is a phone. I’ve highly recommended here on the channel, and a lot of you liked this phone. I’m not surprised at all that this has been an overall great initial experience. Gaming has also been great here on the Galaxy m 51; I think this device will be great for anybody looking to play any mobile game.

So I’m going to show you some samples here of Call of Duty mobile pub G and Stardew Valley. So now what you’ve probably been waiting for the battery life. So let’s go ahead and jump into the battery use here. I think you guys are going to be blown away at some of these results. So as you can see here when I took the phone out of the box and turned it on for the first time, I had around 50% battery and ultimately set everything up on the telephone downloading tons of apps, and I’ll get into some of my use cases here. Still, five hours of screen on time only used about 20. To 30% of the battery just absolutely crazy, For some phones out there on the market you hit five hours, and it’s completely dead and gone.

And this only took about a quarter of its battery which is just insane. So our first test here watched YouTube for two hours, and it only took 10% of the storm. Just going on a complete YouTube binge and only taking 10% of the total battery is crazy. Next, I did some online shopping for about 30 minutes on slick deals and Amazon.

It used about three and a half per cent battery in 30 minutes, so these apps have a bright white display and using them for 30 minutes scrolling through a bunch of different things opening and searching and doing a lot of tasks, it only used three and a half per cent in just 30 minutes. Next jumping into some gaming. Call of Duty mobile played for 30 minutes only took about two and a half per cent battery, so that equates to about trial.
