Recently, OPPO has launched the A74 5G in the Indian market for Rs 17,990. Now, Oppo is going to launch another 5G phone in India- for under Rs 15,000 (~$200). Today, Oppo has confirmed in a press conference that the OPPO A53s 5G will arrive in the Indian market on 27 April and would cost under Rs 15,000.
Oppo has also confirmed that the phone will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Oppo also shared a teaser image which reveals the smartphone offers triple-cameras on its back and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone will have a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution.
At First, the device will be open for buying exclusively on the online marketplace Flipkart in India. To get to know more about the phone- like pricing, availability and details, we will have to wait until the official launch on 27th April.
The overall design and its specs remind us that the device seems the carbon copy of the OPPO A55 5G, which was launched in China in January.
And if that will become true, then the A53s 5G will come with 4/6RAM, along with 128GB of internal memory. Also, there will be a dedicated Micro SD card slot- to allow users to further expand their mobile’s storage size up to 1TB.
We’re expecting a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens in the camera section. At the front, the phone is likely to get an 8MP shooter for capturing selfies and join video calls. As an operating system, out-of-the-box, the smartphone will offer Android 11 with Color OS 11.1. And you would see a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W power adapter.
