The Samsung Galaxy A01 is ready to receive an Android 11 update with One UI Core 3.1

When it was first released, The Samsung Galaxy A01 was the most affordable Galaxy A series smartphone. Samsung launched the device with One UI Core 2.0. After more than a year of its launch, the device is getting its first principal update.

According to a brief by users in Russia- the Galaxy A01, an entry-level Samsung phone- has started receiving its fast-ever major system update- the Android 11 on top of One UI Core 3.10. The smartphone was assumed to get the update in May or later. However, Samsung is rolling out the update earlier.

Now, the South Korean tech elephant is providing the update only in Russia- with the firmware variant A015FXXU4BUD8. And also, the device is bringing the Android 11 features with some new One UI features. The new beginning also features April 2021 security patches.

Users in Russia of this phone can get this update easily. Just go to Settings > About phone > Software update > Download and install. At first, check- whether your phone is ready to download the OTA update or not. If not, then you will have to wait for some time because it is just the beginning- Samsung will send the update to your phone later.

We are expecting that Samsung will send the update to other regions in the upcoming days. The Galaxy A01 is an entry-level phone. However, we are not sure that it will receive the Android 12 update in the coming days. Yes, we can expect the security patches for every month.
