Vivo had launched the Y12s in the past year, and yesterday, Vivo announced its successor, the Vivo Y12s 2021, in Vietnam. These two phones have essentially similar features except for a few minor changes.
Vivo did the key-change in the processor. In the past year’s Y12s had an Helio P35 chip to drive it, where we see the Y12s 2021, is being helmed by a Snapdragon 439 CPU. Instead of having Android 10 out of the box, the Y12s 2021 operating on Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11- and it comes with a single storage arrangement – 32GB storage + 3GB RAM. Also, it features an extra micro SD card slot for additional storage.

Most of all specifications- are standing equal on the new Y12s 2021. That is expressing you will receive the same 6.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD screen, an 8MP front camera, and a dual rear camera module on the rear- including a 13MP main and a 2MP depth cam. Like its ancestor- the handset brings a side-buttoned fingerprint scanner, and it gets power from a 5,000 mAh cell that regains energy by a 10W micro USB charger. In addition, the phone also supports a 5W wired reverse charging system.
The new Vivo Y12s 2021 will arrive in two different colours – Ice Blue and Mysterious Black. Vivo opened the device for sale in Vietnam, in an online market- called FPT-Shop, at 3,290,000 VND (€115/$140). But, when it will be available in the other markets as well- will come to know soon.
